WITH exceptional pleasure the ARCHIVES presents an historical vignette on Pavlov, the greatest of all experimental physiologists.
Although his work included the salivary glands and the esophagus, part of modern otolaryngology, his scientific methods have been applied to all branches of medical science, including our own.
Pavlov ranks with Curie and Roentgen, vignettes about whom have appeared in our ARCHIVES. Of particular interest is his credo concluding this vignette.—ED.
