Course in Stapes Surgery in April.—The New York Polyclinic Medical School and Hospital announces courses in Stapes Surgery under the direction of Alan Austin Scheer, M.D., to be held for one Week, full time, from April 15 to 19, and Oct. 14 to 18 (preceding the Academy meeting). Tuition will be $300. The course will include microscopic cadaver dissection, and observation of surgery in the operating room with closed circuit television. Workshop on Reconstructive Middle Ear Surgery.—The Second Workshop on Reconstructive Middle Ear Surgery will be held from Feb. 25 to March 1, 1963, at Northwestern University in Chicago. Leading otologic surgeons from United States, Canada, and abroad will participate in lectures, panel discussions, and televised operations under the operating microscope each day.
