To the Editor: I would like to call to your attention to what I believe to be an error and misquotation in the paper, Paraganglioma of the Middle Ear and Mastoid, by G. G. Snyder, M.D., Bryn Mawr, Pa.

On page 79/59 of the January, 1961, issue of the ARCHIVES, he refers to an article by Williams, Childs, Parkhill, and Pugh. He states, "Approximately 15 cases are discussed under results of treatment." It is stated specifically and unequivocally in several places in this paper that 13 patients were treated. He further states, "Approximately 15 cases... many of these had deep x-ray therapy, but no further information was given." This seems to me to imply inadequate study and follow-up. In my opinion, the case histories were adequate on both counts.
