National Index on Deafness, Speech, and Hearing.—Gallaudet College of the Ameriican Speech and Hearing Association have established a National Index on Deafness, Speech, and Hearing. This Index will combine the present indexing and abstracting functions of the Central Index of Research on the Deaf at Gallaudet College, and the projected indexing and abstracting functions of the American Speech and hearing Association.

The general policies of the National Index on Deafness, Speech, and Hearing will be formulated by a committee composed of representatives of Gallaudet College and representatives of the American Speech and Hearing Association. The Index will be located at Gallaudet College. It will be directed by Dr. Stephen P. Quigley.
