Home Study Courses in Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology.

—The 1957-1958 Home Study Courses in the basic sciences related to ophthalmology and otolaryngology, which are offered as a part of the educational program of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, will begin on Sept. 1 and continue for a period of 10 months. Detailed information and application forms can be secured from Dr. William L. Benedict, the executive secretary-treasurer of the Academy, 15 Second St. S. W., Rochester, Minn. Registrations should be completed before Aug. 15.

Contributions of Medical Literature to Korea to be Discontinued.

—The American-Korean Foundation and the United States Army Medical Service have announced the discontinuation of their joint project of shipping medical books contributed by individual physicians, medical schools, hospitals, and state and local medical societies to Korea.
