Forty-Fourth French Congress of Oto-Rhino-LAryngology.
—The Forty-Fourth French Congress of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology will take place from Oct. 15 to 18, 1956, in the Grand Amphitheatre of the Faculty of Medicine of Paris, under the presidency of Prof. Leon Binet, member of the Institute and Dean of the Paris Faculty of Medicine.
Numerous papers will be presented, and two particularly interesting reports will be discussed:
(1) Functional Plastic and Repair Surgery of the Nose and Sinuses. Reporters: M. M. Aubry (Paris) and J. Ch. Giraud (Algiers).
(2) Postanginal Nephritis and Rheumatism—Pathological and Clinical Study. Reporters: M. M. R. Maduro, M. Derot, and F. Layani (Paris).
An exhibition of surgical instruments, of fittings and of otorhinolaryngological specialities will be held in the Hall of the Faculty.
