My paper is presented for the purpose of creating more interest in a procedure which should be a part of the work of the rhinologist. Especially is this true for those who are surgically inclined, for the reason that in the surgical correction of cleft lip and cleft palate a knowledge of nasal surgery is essential in order to give the best cosmetic results, and to increase the functional activities of the nasal chambers.
