In this monograph of sixty pages with several illustrations the author undertakes to present in a methodical manner a critical discussion of the important subject of sepsis in connection with disease of the tonsils. In this presentation he discusses sepsis in general and sepsis after angina and whether there is an increase in the number of these cases or only a more frequent recognition of their occurrence. After a discussion of the pathology and the previous methods of treatment, conservative or operative, the author presents under his own observations a report of twenty-five cases.
