The 24th Annual Convention of the Society for Ear, Nose, and Throat Advances in Children (SENTAC) took place in Cincinnati, Ohio, December 5-8, 1996. The event was jointly sponsored with the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa.

The Society for Ear, Nose, and Throat Advances in Children is an interdisciplinary professional society of health professionals who share an interest in ear, nose, and throat diseases in children. The convention is one of the major meetings of professionals in pediatric otolaryngology. The members of SENTAC are otolaryngologists, pediatricians, family practitioners, as well as audiologists, speech and language pathologists, and nurses. More than 100 registrants participated.

Awards and Guest Lecturers. John N. G. Evans, MD, London, England, was given the Robert Rubin Award, signifying a lifetime contribution to scientific studies in ear, nose, and throat diseases in children.
