New Officers for the Association of Academic Departments of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery.—The new officers for 1987 for the Association of Academic Departments of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery are as follows: president, James L. Parkin, MD, Salt Lake City; president elect, H. Bryan Neel III, MD, PhD, Rochester, Minn; past president, Byron J. Bailey, MD, Galveston Tex; and secretary/treasurer, Alexander J. Schleuning, MD, Portland, Ore. The new council members are Paul H. Ward, MD, Los Angeles, and Richard A. Chole, MD, Sacramento, Calif.

Congress for Hair Replacement Surgery.—The "International Congress for Hair Replacement Surgery," sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, will be held May 20-24, 1987, in Los Angeles. The Congress directors are Thomas H. Alt, MD, and D. Bluford Stough III, MD.
