Diagnosis of neurotologic problems are difficult, time consuming, and expensive. The Handbook of Neurotological Diagnosis is a welcome addition to our library. It will be particularly useful for residents and generalists in otolaryngology and neurology. This volume is one of the series of cooperative efforts between Europe and the United States, making available to readers in the United States clinical skills and newly acquired knowledge generated in Europe. The authors are all well-recognized experts in their fields. There are two chapters on clinical evaluation of dizzy patients and three chapters on audiologic evaluation, including auditory brain-stem response and electrocochleography.
