This book is a comprehensive collection of oral histopathology. The quality of the photomicrographs is very good, and the accompanying discussions are concise. Since considerable emphasis is given to dental disease alone, this atlas is clearly intended for students of dentistry and has perhaps less relevance for otolaryngologists. Clinical correlations in the form of diagnostic and therapeutic suggestions, although lacking, would strengthen the otolaryngologist's use of this text.
