In Reply.—We appreciate the letter by Dr Schwartz calling attention to other reports of acute uvulitis and epiglottitis in the literature. Although the incidence of the disease is low, the messages of the case reports are similar: when uvulitis is identified, epiglottitis should be suspected and therapy directed accordingly. . . .
