To the Editor.—Westerman and Hutton¹ published a timely article on the association of acute infectious uvulitis with epiglottitis. In their review of the pertinent literature, the authors found only one previously published report.² I have been interested in acute infectious uvulitis, and, in my search of the literature, I found several additional articles^3,4 that have been published on the subject of acute uvulitis and epiglottitis secondary to Haemophilus influenzae type B.
