This is the definitive statement on current head and neck radiology, bearing a publication date of 1984. In 896 pages of easily readable and beautifully illustrated material, the three editors have collated the major elements of morphologic diagnostic imaging in a state-of-the-art, one-volume textbook. The materials are practical and educational, and give clear clinical direction in application.
The book covers exactly all the areas the title presupposes. Morphologic emphasis is on computed tomography, though conventional imaging is included. Additionally, diagnostic arteriography is augmented by a chapter on embolization techniques. The temporal bone section is enhanced with color illustrations.
Throughout, strong clinical correlations are used. A variety of clean, well-labeled diagrams serve to complement the publication. Additionally, tabular information is included, as well as such niceties as photographs of patient positioning.
