This is a comprehensive book of 341 pages devoted to the study of the head and neck with soft tissue and skeleton by computed tomography (CT). The contents are broken down into 12 chapters. They deal specifically, by chapter, with the various organs and symptoms of the head and neck. For example, the orbit and globe, the paranasal sinuses, and pterygopalatine fossa are in separate chapters, as are the salivary glands, larynx, and hypopharynx. A special chapter is devoted to the base of the tongue and to the temporal bone. There is even a chapter for a comparison between CT and magnetic resonance intensification of the head and neck, indicating that the book is very much up to date.
