Research Grants.—The Deafness Research Foundation invites applications for 1986 grant support of research projects directed to any aspect of the ear, eg, investigation of function, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, anatomy, or pathology. Grant support is given for one year, in an amount that cannot exceed $12,500, but can be renewed for one or two additional years.

The deadlines for applications for 1986 grant support are as follows: first-year applications, postmarked by July 15, 1985; renewed applications, postmarked by Aug 15, 1985.

Research Grant.—The Head and Neck Cancer Rehabilitation Institute invites applications for the John Scripps Research Grant. This grant supports a single research investigation of patients with head and neck cancer. Grant support is in the amount of $15,000 and is nonrenewable.
