Course.—The Kresge Hearing Research Laboratory of the South, LSU Medical Center, New Orleans, and the Louisiana Board of Examiners will hold a course entitled "Practical Short Course in Auditory Brainstem Response" to be held June 14-18, 1985.

New Officers.—The International Society for the History of Otolaryngology has recently elected its new officers for 1985. They are as follows: president, Joseph B. Touma, MD, Huntington, WVa; vice-president, Anthony Jahn, MD, New York; and secretary-treasurer, George Simpson, MD, Boston.

Meeting.—The 34th annual otolaryngology meeting will be held at the new Sheraton University Inn, Syracuse, NY, on June 6-7, 1985, under the program direction of Richard Gacek, MD.
