Thirteenth World Congress of Otorhinolaryngology

I ask each of you to take a few minutes to read this editorial and to reflect upon the importance of your personal participation in "international otolaryngology—head and neck surgery." The world becomes smaller each year, and, as a result, we have increasing opportunities for intellectual exchange with our physician colleagues around the globe.

Miami will host the Thirteenth World Congress of Otorhinolaryngology on May 26 through 31, 1985. Each of us should plan to attend, and many of us should participate in the scientific program, because this event will provide an international panorama of the state of the art of our dynamic specialty.
