This book represents the first attempt to comprehensively cover the subject of pediatric bronchoesophagology. That it succeeds is an understatement. The book should be in the library of every trainee or practitioner of otolaryngology, pediatric surgery, anesthesiology, thoracic surgery, pediatric gastroenterology, and pediatric pulmonary medicine. It should be available as a reference source to all pediatricians and speech therapists.

This book is more than its title suggests. The opening one fourth of the book is divided into 11 short chapters covering such subjects as indications for endoscopy, anesthesia and endoscopy, endoscopy techniques, and complications. Each of these chapters is brief and to the point while conveying the essential information. Where required, expertly executed black-and-white line drawings accompany the text.
