To the Editor.—I have found an error in my article entitled "Circumoral Chemical Peel Combined With Cervicofacial Rhytidectomy," published in the March ARCHIVES (1983;109:172-174). The formula for the peel solution is 3 mL of phenol, 2 mL of sterile water, 8 drops of liquid soap, and 3 drops of croton oil. The formula was given in the "Technique" section as 3 mL of croton oil, which would completely dilute out the mixture and make it ineffective; however, I do not think it would be harmful to use that much croton oil.
