The second edition of Principles of Neurology continues the tradition of excellence and exposition and contextual organization begun in the first edition published in 1977. Raymond D. Adams, MD, emeritus professor of neurology at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass, and Maurice Victor, MD, professor of neurology at Case Western Reserve, Cleveland, are experienced clinicians, teachers, and authors. This work, as was its predecessor, is aimed squarely at the medical student who needs to acquire a uniform clinical method to use as a firm foundation on which to learn to evaluate and diagnose patient conditions and to treat patients with neurologic disorders. This book provides such a foundation.
