New Officers.—The American Society for Head and Neck Surgery has announced its new officers. They are as follows: J. Ryan Chandler, MD, Miami, president; Douglas P. Bryce, MD, Toronto, president-elect; Jerome C. Goldstein, MD, Albany, NY, secretary; Robert W. Cantrell, MD, Charlottesville, Va, treasurer; and George A. Sisson, MD, Chicago, historianlibrarian.

Workshop.—There will be a workshop on soft-tissue surgery on Dec 5-6, 1980, at the University of Oregon College of Medicine, Portland. The course director is James D. Smith, MD. This intensive workshop will emphasize the basic principles and concepts in softtissue surgery and their use in clinical situations. Attendance will be limited.
