Excerpta Medica Services has sponsored the development of the Antibiotics Indications Device—AIDTM, which serves as a convenience aid to selecting the most appropriate antibiotic agent for common infections. This aid and the accompanying booklet was prepared under the direction of a committee that was headed by Dr Maxwell Finland, the noted professor of medicine at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass.
