This book represents an assembly of known information on the effects of certain stimuli and subject parameters on the evoked response. The material consists of an organized summary of the subject literature that is gathered into a compendium without any attempt made to evaluate relative merits of the literature reviewed.
The book is a classic example of congenital bibliomegaly, with 20% of its total body volume made up of reference lists. I would estimate that this book will have some value to a few audiologists, little value to most otolaryngologists, and no value to the reader who is totally unfamiliar with the subject.
