This book is the second edition and is published by W.B. Saunders Company. It is a most comprehensive treatise on the facial nerve. It reviews very systematically and categorically the various entities that affect the facial nerve. The bibliography is complete. Several color illustrations are included that allude to the pathology found in peripheral facial paralysis. It is a book that is of interest to those otologists who are interested in facial paralysis. It is recommended to otologic surgeons.
