The Blue Mosque, Istanbul

Arch Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg. 2008;134(5):465.

Photographer: Jason Klenoff, MD, Stamford, Connecticut. "While in Istanbul in May 2007, I visited the Sultan Ahmet Camii, better known as the Blue Mosque. It gets its name from the multitude of exquisite blue tiles that cover its interior. The outside is gorgeous as well and takes on a very different look depending on the ambient lighting. The Sea of Marmara is in the background."
