Booth Lake, Indian Peaks Wilderness Area, Colorado

Arch Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg. 2008;134(12):1247.

Photographer: Alan Lipkin, MD, Denver, Colorado. Situated just northeast of Vail, Colorado, Booth Lake sits at the end of a 6-mile trail with 3000 feet of vertical gain. The aspen-lined trail ascends along a creek with several picturesque cascades and waterfalls. This photograph was taken during a 2004 group hike with the Colorado Mountain Club, a great resource for hikers and climbers.
