Magical Bled, Slovenia

Arch Otolaryngol Head Neck Surg. 2008;134(10):1031.

Photographer: John C. Shelton, MD, Sarasota, Florida. "My wife and I visited Bled, Slovenia, a somewhat mythical and very picturesque lake town in the Slovenian Alps. In all of our travels, it is one of the most magical and fairy tale–like places we have seen, equipped with a castle on a cliff and church on an island in the middle of a glacial blue lake. We took this picture from a hot air balloon on December 31, 2005."
