Photographer: Thomas R. Lowry, MD, Lackland Air Force Base, Tex. This photograph was taken on a recent Otologic Humanitarian Mission to La Ceiba, Honduras. The Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Department at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Tex, carries out annual surgical missions to Central America to provide much-needed care for patients with chronic ear disease. The team consisted of senior otolaryngology residents and department staff.
