A 54-year-old woman presented with right-sided symptoms of nasal airway obstruction and sinus pressure, which had progressively worsened over the past several weeks. Her medical history was remarkable for melanoma and breast cancer. Inspection of the right nasal cavity revealed a whitish gray mass with friable adjacent mucosa. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated a lobulated soft tissue mass filling the right nasal cavity, with a mass effect along the right maxillary sinus and lateral displacement of the right pterygopalatine fossa. The mass was isointense to muscle on gadolinium-enhanced T1-weighted images and was slightly hyperintense to muscle on T2-weighted images.
