A full-term girl was born via spontaneous vaginal delivery, with no perinatal complications. Two soft tissue masses were found along her maxillary alveolar ridge. The lesions were not obstructive, and the patient was asymptomatic. She had no evidence of respiratory distress after delivery and tolerated bottle feeding without difficulty.
The maxillary alveolar ridge masses measured 0.5 x 0.4 x 0.3 cm and 1.5 x 1.4 x 0.6 cm. Gross examination revealed rubbery, polypoid, pink, well-mucosalized lesions with small pedunculated stalks along the alveolar ridge (Figure 1). There were no other abnormalities noted on physical examination.
