A 2-year-old girl presented with intractable otorrhea of the left ear that had started about 3 months after she was born. She also had been receiving antibiotics for more than 6 months. Otoscopy showed a small perforation of the tympanic membrane in her left ear, and a whitish mass was seen through the hole. Audiometry demonstrated a 45-dB conductive-type hearing loss in the patient’s left ear. Computed tomography of the temporal bone (Figure 1 and Figure 2) and magnetic resonance imaging (Figure 3 and Figure 4) were performed.
