Abstract
Primary hemangioma is a rare, benign tumor occurring predominantly in females in their fourth decade. It is found most frequently in the frontal and parietal bones but also occurs in the bones of the face. Diagnosis is based on the presence of a bony exostosis with the characteristic "sunburst" appearance on x-ray films. Surgical excision is the treatment of choice.
