Abstract
Three patients with the clinical findings of lethal midline granuloma are presented. Pathologic examination disclosed a distinctive neoplastic cellular infiltrate. This type of neoplasm has been designated by others as midline malignant reticulosis and can be sharply separated from Wegener's granulomatosis on histologic study. Midline malignant reticulosis usually responds to radiotherapy with complete healing of the lesions in the facial area. The term "lethal midline granuloma" should be used only as a clinical designation and not as a specific pathologic diagnosis.
