Incudostapedial Joint Disarticulation

Abstract

The etiology and mechanism of middle ear ossicular disruption are briefly presented. The case of a 10-year-old boy with incudostapedial joint dislocation is reported. A new method of repair, using a "C" shaped wire stint, is described and the result discussed.
