An Ear-Level Hearing Aid for Bilateral Atresia
CPT Gerald Schuchman, MS
Arch Otolaryngol. 1971;94(1):87-88.
Abstract
Using the contralateral routing of signals (CROS) principle, an ear-level bone-conduction hearing aid was designed for a patient with bilateral, congenital atresia. Both subjectively and objectively the performance of this instrument surpassed that of the standard body-type bone-conduction unit.
