Sarcoidosis of the Skin and Larynx

V. Venkata Raman, MBBS

Arch Otolaryngol. 1971;93(3):324-326.

Abstract

Sarcoidosis is a protean disease which can involve any system in the body; laryngeal sarcoidosis has been reported but is uncommon. Involvement of the larynx developed in a patient after the disease had been confined to the skin for 11 years. Cases reported in the literature in which the skin and the larynx were involved are reviewed, and the protracted clinical course in such cases is stressed.
