Abstract
Rhabdomyoma is a rare, benign tumor composed principally of polygonal skeletal muscle cells having occasional striations, crystals, and abundant glycogen-containing vacuoles in their cytoplasm. It is most frequently encountered in in the region of the head and neck. An unusual rhabdomyoma, observed by light and electron microscopes, was characterized by intranuclear inclusions. Ultrastructurally, these inclusions resemble nuclear bodies. The function and significance of these inclusions remain unknown.
