Salivary Gland Choristoma of the Middle EarA Case Report
Robert C. Bruner, MD
Arch Otolaryngol. 1970;91(3):303.
Abstract
Normal salivary gland tissue occurring as a tumor in the middle ear is a rare entity. It is associated with developmental anomalies of the facial nerve and ossicular chain. Surgical correction of the accompanying conductive hearing loss required removing the tumor from an aberrant facial nerve.
