Over the last decade, we have made significant progress in treating
nasopharyngeal cancer. We have achieved a better tumor control rate with conformal
radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Surgical salvage treatment has also contributed
to helping patients with localized disease in the neck or in the nasopharynx.
