Effects of Meningiomas on the Facial Skeleton

MAJ Anthony Papavasiliou, MC; COL Robert Sawyer, MC; Valerie Lund, MB, BS

Arch Otolaryngol. 1982;108(4):255-257.

Abstract

• Intracranial or extracranial meningiomas frequently are associated with facial skeletal changes, eg, hyperostosis and pneumosinus dilatans. Review of the literature and personal experience confirm this association. Two cases are presented to illustrate these changes.
