Rhinorrhea and Pseudomonas Meningitis Associated With a Rhinopharyngeal Tumor

Jean-Paul Sculier, MD; Jean Klastersky, MD

Arch Otolaryngol. 1982;108(1):36-37.

Abstract

• A patient with a neoplastic tumor of the rhinopharynx had Pseudomonas aeruginosa meningitis, the origin of which could be traced back to an occult CSF fistula caused by the tumor. From a review of the literature, it seems that this is a rare clinical occurrence.
