Fibromyxoma of the Pterygomaxillary Fossa
Michael S. Mallonee, MD
Arch Otolaryngol. 1981;107(9):555-557.
Abstract
Fibromyxomas are rare tumors that probably arise from primitive mesenchyme. The singular term of "myxoma" usually is not sufficient to describe this lesion, since it frequently occurs with other connective-tissue elements. A case of a fibromyxoma appearing as a typical antrochoanal polyp occurred.
