Irradiation-Induced Fibrosis of the Neck and Sleep Apnea

Abstract
A case of life-threatening sleep apnea syndrome secondary to irradiation-induced fibrosis of the neck occurred. The diagnosis was made with the use of relatively simple monitoring techniques. Obstructive apnea of this origin is potentially fatal yet remediable.
