Bilateral Sensorineural Hearing Loss as a Complication of Infectious Mononucleosis
Javed A. Beg, MD
Arch Otolaryngol. 1981;107(10):620-622.
Abstract
Two cases of bilateral high-frequency sensorineural hearing loss occurred after an unusually benign course of infectious mononucleosis. Otolaryngologists should be aware of the possibility of hearing loss without involvement of the other cranial nerves from infectious mononucleosis.
