Radiologic diagnosis of chondroma and chondrosarcoma of the larynx
J. Zizmor, A. M. Noyek and J. S. Lewis
The radiographic findings in chondroma and chondrosarcoma of the larynx
basically comprise a discreet soft tissue mass on plain lateral and
anteroposterior film, a smooth mucosal outline to the lesion,
calcification, with either peripheral or central stippling and
ossification. Secondary signs are also noted. Definition of these criteria
are illustrated in order to apply these findings to the radiographic
diagnosis of chondroma and chondrosarcoma of the larynx.
