Osteotomy and Infraction in Rhinoplasty

Abstract

In the performance of rhinoplasty, a method of controlled lateral osteotomy and infraction of the lateral nasal walls is desirable. The technique described in this paper produces uniformly good lateral wall continuity in the immediate postoperative period and in the ultimate appearance of the patient's nose as viewed frontally or in profile.
