Abstract
Thirty-one hard-of-hearing subjects participated in a double-blind study to determine the effects of transdermal stimulation on monosyllabic word discrimination scores. No treatment effects were discernible though most treated individuals improved their scores under restricted circumstances. No significant differences could be found between control and treated groups of subjects.
